Several years ago all our new junior trainees who joined us from school attended local colleges for day release training to underpin the practical work that they did in the salon.
After many years of experiencing the “hit & miss” element of this we needed to assess the situation as there was definitely a shortfall as far as we were concerned in the standard of training that they were receiving.
It was at this time that we decided to create our own academy which is now in its 10th year.

Working closely with the Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Skills Solution we provide a high quality of training to all our junior staff on site, delivering qualifications up to NVQ level 3 hairdressing. We now have 100% control over our younger employees’ development ensuring a quality product at the end of their training.
All theory training that they receive in the academy is supported by night school sessions in the salons.
